Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Attach power cord: Plug into machine and wall outlet (220-240V).
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side facing back.
  4. Attach presser foot: Lower presser foot lever, snap foot into place.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions in section 7.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; LED light should illuminate.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading guide on machine.
  2. Insert bobbin: Open bobbin cover, place bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and tension according to fabric type.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test stitch quality and tension.

CAUTION! Always use correct needle type for fabric. Change needle regularly.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to select from straight stitch, zigzag, stretch stitches, blind hem, buttonhole, and decorative patterns. Thread Tension: Adjust dial (1-9) - lower numbers for lighter fabrics, higher for heavier fabrics. Stitch Length: 0 for darning, 1-2 for fine fabrics, 3-4 for heavy fabrics. Reverse Stitch: Hold button to sew backwards for reinforcement.

Threading & Bobbin Winding

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Upper threading: Raise presser foot, follow numbered guide from spool pin to needle.
  2. Automatic needle threading: Lower threader lever, hook thread through guide, release lever.
  3. Bobbin winding: Place spool on pin, thread through bobbin winder tension, press bobbin onto spindle, press foot pedal.
  4. Bobbin insertion: Open cover, place bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.
  5. Bring up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up, pull upper thread to bring up bobbin thread.

Tip: Always use good quality thread and clean bobbins.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs with brush provided.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs by running unthreaded cotton floss through them.
  4. Needle replacement: Change needle after every 8 hours of sewing or for new project.

CAUTION! Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance. Use only sewing machine oil.
