Unpacking and Setup

Carefully unpack all components and place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift by carrying handle, not by accessories.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at right front.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.

WARNING! Machine is heavy; lift with care. Keep fingers away from needle area during operation.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Thread machine: Use automatic needle threader or manual threading path.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place wound bobbin in bobbin case with thread counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Choose desired stitch pattern using control dial.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and width as needed.

Stitch Selection

Threading and Bobbin

Upper Threading:

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder spindle.
  2. Thread through bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Push bobbin winder to engage, press foot pedal.
  4. Stop when bobbin is full, cut thread and return winder.

WARNING! Always use same thread type in bobbin and needle for best results.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before maintenance. Clean lint from bobbin area regularly. Oil moving parts as specified in manual.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Do not spray cleaners directly on machine.
