Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach foot pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press pedal to wind.
  5. Insert bobbin: Open bobbin case, insert bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine and turn on power switch.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow threading guide printed on machine.
  2. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch pattern dial to desired setting.
  4. Adjust stitch length and width as needed for your project.
  5. Place fabric under presser foot and lower foot lever.
  6. Begin sewing with gentle pressure on foot pedal.

CAUTION! Always start with scrap fabric to test settings. Keep work area well-lit.

Tip: Always test stitch on scrap fabric of same type before sewing project.

Threading Instructions

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise presser foot and raise needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spool pin and secure with cap.
  3. Follow numbered threading guide: Through first thread guide, down to tension discs, up to take-up lever, through final guide to needle.
  4. Use built-in needle threader: Push lever down, hook thread through hook, release lever.
  5. Pull both upper and bobbin threads under and behind presser foot.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off during threading. Never force thread through guides.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean lint from bobbin area after every 8 hours of sewing.
  2. Oil moving parts monthly with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  4. Replace needle after every 8-10 hours of sewing or if damaged.
  5. Store in dry area covered when not in use.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Use only sewing machine oil.
