Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Attach power cord: Connect to machine and wall outlet.
  2. Install foot pedal: Plug into machine's foot pedal port.

  4. Insert needle: Ensure flat side faces back, tighten screw securely.

First-Time Operation

Stitch Width Dial: Adjust zigzag width 0-5mm. Reverse Stitch Lever: Hold down for reinforcement stitching. Thread Tension Dial: Higher numbers for tighter tension.

Recommended Settings: Normal fabric: Length 2.5mm, Width 2.5mm, Tension 4. Heavy fabric: Length 3-4mm, Tension 5-6. Light fabric: Length 1.5-2mm, Tension 3.

Stitch Selection Guide

Choose appropriate stitch for your fabric and project type.

  1. Straight Stitch: Basic sewing, seams, topstitching (Position 1)
  2. Zigzag Stitch: Finishing edges, stretch fabrics, appliqué (Position 2)
  3. Blind Hem Stitch: Nearly invisible hems (Position 3)
  4. Stretch Stitch: Knits and stretch fabrics (Position 4)
  5. Decorative Stitches: Ornamental sewing (Positions 5-12)
  6. Buttonhole Stitch: Automatic one-step buttonholes (Position 0)

Tip: Always test stitch on scrap fabric before starting your project.

Threading & Bobbin Winding

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Upper Threading: Raise presser foot, follow numbered guide from spool to needle.
  2. Bobbin Winding: Place spool on pin, thread through tension disk, wind automatically.
  3. Bobbin Insertion: Open bobbin cover, drop in with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  4. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  5. Thread Both Under Presser Foot: Pull both threads back 4-6 inches.

WARNING! Never force thread through guides. Ensure presser foot is raised when threading.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension disks with soft brush.
  4. As Needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.

CAUTION! Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance. Use only sewing machine oil.
