Setup and Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Connect foot pedal: Plug into machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp, insert needle flat side back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup steps.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Load bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  4. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test stitch settings.
  5. Adjust tension: Start with default setting (4), adjust as needed.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or dull needles.

Stitch Selection

Available stitches: Straight (1-4), zigzag (5), blind hem (6), stretch stitches (7-10), decorative (11-23).

  1. Turn stitch selection dial to desired number.
  2. Adjust stitch length for fabric type: Longer for basting, shorter for fine fabrics.
  3. Adjust stitch width for zigzag and decorative stitches.
  4. Test on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Tip: Use straight stitch (1) for most sewing, zigzag for finishing edges.

Threading and Bobbin

Upper threading: Follow numbered path from spool to needle.

  1. Place spool on spool pin.
  2. Pull thread through first thread guide.
  3. Pass thread through tension discs.
  4. Thread take-up lever from right to left.
  5. Pass through remaining guides to needle.
  6. Use automatic needle threader if available.

Bobbin Winding: Place empty bobbin on winder, pass thread through bobbin winding tension, press foot pedal to wind.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and oiling ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean lint from bobbin area after each project.
  2. Oil moving parts every 3 months or after heavy use.
  3. Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.
  4. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
