Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach foot control to machine and plug into power outlet.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide thread through bobbin winder tension disc.
  5. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path on machine.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug machine when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test basic functions.

  1. Select straight stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to straight stitch position.
  2. Set stitch length: Adjust to medium setting (2.5mm) for general sewing.
  3. Practice on scrap fabric: Use two layers of medium-weight fabric.
  4. Test reverse: Hold reverse button to sew backwards for seam reinforcement.

  2. Bobbin Winding: Place spool on pin, thread through guide, wind bobbin until full.
  3. Bobbin Insertion: Place bobbin in case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  4. Needle Threading: Use built-in needle threader or thread manually from front to back.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you to catch bobbin thread.

WARNING! Ensure machine is unplugged during threading to prevent accidental starting.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Clean lint from bobbin area after each project.
  3. Oil machine according to manual instructions (use only sewing machine oil).
