Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

First-Time Operation

Threading and Bobbin Winding

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Upper threading: Raise presser foot, follow numbered guides, use automatic needle threader.
  2. Bobbin winding: Place spool on pin, thread through guides, wind until 3/4 full.
  3. Bobbin insertion: Open cover, drop bobbin with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  4. Bring up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  5. Thread tension: Adjust dial - higher numbers for tighter tension.

WARNING! Always raise needle to highest position before threading.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before maintenance. Regular cleaning prevents lint buildup.

  1. Remove needle plate: Use screwdriver to access bobbin area.
  2. Clean feed dogs: Use small brush to remove lint and threads.
