Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from box.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at front right.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Install bobbin: Follow bobbin threading diagram.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Prepare machine for first use with practice fabric.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread pulling counterclockwise.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Keep hands clear of moving parts.

Stitch Length: Adjust for fabric thickness (shorter for delicate, longer for heavy). Stitch Width: Control zigzag and decorative stitch width. Reverse: Hold button to sew backwards for seam reinforcement. Tension: Adjust upper thread tension dial (4-6 for normal fabrics).

Stitch Selection

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Upper Threading: Raise presser foot, follow numbered path from spool to needle.
  2. Needle Threader: Push lever down and forward, hook thread through eye.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place spool on pin, thread through guide, wrap around bobbin.
  4. Bobbin Insertion: Open cover, drop bobbin with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you.

WARNING! Ensure machine is unplugged during threading. Keep threads untangled.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Monthly: Check needle for burrs, replace if damaged.
