Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Install foot control: Plug into machine's foot control port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions in threading section.

First-Time Operation

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise needle to highest position: Turn handwheel toward you.
  2. Place spool on spool pin: Secure with spool cap if needed.
  3. Follow threading path: Through tension discs, take-up lever, and finally needle.
  4. Use automatic needle threader: Push lever down and hook thread through needle eye.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, guide thread, push winder to engage.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

WARNING! Ensure machine is unplugged during threading. Always use correct needle type.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate: Clean lint and dust from feed dogs and bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts: Use sewing machine oil on hook race and other points as indicated in diagram.
  4. Clean exterior: Use soft, dry cloth only.
  5. Replace needle regularly: After 8-10 hours of sewing or if damaged.
