Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at front right side.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Thread machine: Follow threading diagram on machine.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test basic functions.

Threading and Bobbin

  4. Use needle threader: Pull lever down and through needle eye.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, guide thread, press pedal.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread clockwise.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off during threading. Keep fingers clear of needle area.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts (use sewing machine oil only).
