Unpacking and Setup

Stitch Selection

Threading and Bobbin

  3. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, wrap around tension disc, insert through bobbin hole, and engage bobbin winder.
  4. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  5. Pull bobbin thread up through throat plate.

Tip: Always thread with presser foot raised to open tension discs.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean lint from bobbin area and feed dogs regularly.
  2. Oil moving parts as indicated in lubrication points diagram.
  3. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).
