Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.
  2. Place machine on sturdy table or sewing cabinet.
  3. Connect foot control pedal to machine and power outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, follow threading guide, wind bobbin.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when threading or changing accessories.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading and bobbin installation steps.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Push lever down and hook thread through needle.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  4. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  5. Select stitch: Turn dial to desired stitch pattern.
  6. Test sew on scrap fabric to ensure proper tension and stitch formation.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Keep work area clean and well-lit.

Main controls located on front and top of machine. Stitch Selection Dial: Turn to select from 27 built-in stitches.

Control Panel: Stitch selection dial, stitch length dial (0-4), stitch width dial (0-5), reverse stitch button, power switch.

Stitch Length: Adjust from 0 (basting) to 4 (longest). Stitch Width: Adjust zigzag and decorative stitch width from 0-5mm. Reverse Stitch: Press and hold to reinforce stitching. Needle Position: Manual adjustment for left, center, or right positioning.

Stitch Selection Guide

Threading & Bobbin Winding

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Upper Threading: Follow numbered path from spool pin through tension discs to needle.
  2. Automatic Needle Threader: Push lever down, hook thread through guide, release lever.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place thread on spool pin, guide through pretension, place empty bobbin on winder, push winder to right, press foot pedal.
  4. Bobbin Installation: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until needle goes down and up, pull upper thread to bring up bobbin thread.

WARNING! Ensure machine is powered off during threading. Keep fingers clear of moving parts.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Remove lint and dust from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts (use only sewing machine oil).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with folded fabric or specialty cleaner.
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing or for new project.
