Installation and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

Stitch Selection and Functions

  4. For automatic buttonhole: Select buttonhole stitch, place button in foot, machine automatically sizes buttonhole.
  5. Use reverse stitch button to secure beginning and end of seams.
  6. Change presser feet for different functions (zipper, buttonhole, etc.).

Tip: Always test stitch settings on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint from bobbin area.
  3. Oil machine according to lubrication points in manual.
  4. Clean exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needles regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).
  6. Check bobbin case for lint buildup.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean machine as it can force lint deeper into mechanism.
