Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by base, not by handle.

Threading and Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise needle to highest position using handwheel.
  2. Place spool on spool pin with thread unwinding toward back.
  3. Follow numbered threading path: Through thread guides, tension discs, take-up lever.
  4. Use built-in needle threader: Lower lever, hook thread through needle eye.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, push to right, press foot controller.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop into case with thread following arrow direction.

Tip: Always pull about 6 inches of thread behind needle before starting to sew.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate: Use screwdriver to access bobbin area.
  3. Clean lint: Use brush to remove lint from feed dogs, bobbin case, hook area.
  4. Oil machine: Apply sewing machine oil to moving parts as indicated in manual.
  5. Replace needle: Change needle after every 8-10 hours of sewing.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never use household oils.
