Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by handle, remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect foot pedal cord to machine port.

Basic Sewing Techniques

Follow these steps for successful sewing projects:

  1. Prepare fabric: Press and pin if necessary.
  2. Select appropriate stitch and settings for fabric type.
  3. Position fabric under presser foot, lower presser foot lever.
  4. Start sewing: Press foot pedal gently to begin.
  5. Guide fabric: Let machine feed fabric; don't pull or push.
  6. Reverse stitching: Hold reverse lever to reinforce beginning and end.
  7. Finishing: Raise needle, lift presser foot, remove fabric, trim threads.

WARNING! Never sew over pins. Keep fingers clear of moving needle.
