Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Install foot pedal and position for comfortable access.
  4. Install needle following threading diagram.
  5. Wind and install bobbin according to instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug machine when not in use or during maintenance.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; familiarize with basic controls.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Insert bobbin: Ensure bobbin rotates counterclockwise when pulled.
  3. Select straight stitch: Set stitch selector to position 1.
  4. Practice on scrap fabric: Use medium-weight cotton for initial testing.
  5. Adjust stitch length: Start with 2.5mm setting.
  6. Use foot pedal: Practice speed control with empty needle.

CAUTION! Always start with empty needle practice. Keep work area clean and well-lit.

Stitch Selection: Rotate dial to choose from 12 stitch patterns. Stitch Length: Adjust from 0 (darning) to 4mm (basting). Stitch Width: Adjust zigzag and decorative stitch width. Reverse: Hold button while sewing to reinforce stitches. Tension Control: Adjust thread tension dial (4-6 for normal sewing).

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Follow numbered threading path: spool pin to needle.
  3. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, through tension disk, to bobbin.
  4. Insert bobbin: Drop-in style, thread through tension spring.
  5. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold needle thread, rotate hand wheel.
  6. Place both threads under presser foot toward back.

WARNING! Ensure machine is unplugged during threading. Never force thread through tension disks.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate: Clean lint and dust from feed dogs and bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts: Use sewing machine oil on hook race and moving mechanisms.
  4. Wipe exterior: Use soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needle: After 8-10 hours of sewing or if damaged.
  6. Store covered: Use dust cover when not in use.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never spray cleaners directly on machine.
