Threading the Machine

  3. Thread through tension discs and take-up lever.
  4. Thread needle from front to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through guide, engage winder.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  7. Pull bobbin thread up through needle plate.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off during threading. Always raise presser foot when threading.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint from bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops monthly).
