Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by base, not handwheel.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect pedal cord to machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Attach accessories: Install presser foot, thread spool pin, and bobbin winder.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine and turn on power switch.

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide thread through bobbin winder tension, press foot pedal.

Threading the Machine

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Raise needle to highest position using handwheel.
  2. Place thread spool on spool pin.
  3. Follow threading guide: Through first thread guide, around tension discs, through take-up lever, down to needle.
  4. Thread needle from front to back.
  5. Pull about 4 inches of thread under presser foot toward back.
  6. For bobbin threading: Wind bobbin evenly, insert in bobbin case with thread pulling counter-clockwise.

Tip: Always thread with presser foot raised to open tension discs.
