Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.
  2. Place machine on flat, stable surface at comfortable working height.
  3. Connect foot pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  4. Install needle and thread machine following threading diagram.
  5. Wind and insert bobbin into bobbin case.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off power when changing needles or cleaning.

First-Time Setup

Power on machine; follow initial setup procedures.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place wound bobbin in case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  3. Select stitch: Use stitch selection dial to choose desired pattern.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and width according to fabric type.
  5. Test sew: Practice on scrap fabric before starting project.

CAUTION! Ensure proper needle installation with flat side facing back. Use correct needle type for fabric.

Basic Sewing Operations

WARNING! Never pull fabric while sewing; let feed dogs move fabric. Keep fingers away from moving needle.

Care & Cleaning
