Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and remove all protective materials.
  2. Attach extension table if using flatbed sewing.
  3. Connect foot pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  4. Install needle and thread machine following threading diagram.
  5. Wind and insert bobbin according to instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; test basic functions.

  1. Select straight stitch with medium length (2.5mm).
  2. Place scrap fabric under presser foot and lower foot.
  3. Gently press foot pedal to begin sewing.
  4. Practice reverse stitching to secure seams.
  5. Experiment with different stitch patterns and settings.

CAUTION! Always use the correct needle for your fabric type. Replace bent or dull needles immediately.

Stitch Selection

Available stitches: Straight, zigzag, blind hem, stretch, decorative patterns.

  1. Turn stitch selector dial to desired pattern.
  2. Adjust stitch length for fabric type (shorter for delicate, longer for heavy).
  3. For zigzag, adjust width as needed.
  4. Test stitch on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Tip: Use shorter stitches for curves and stress points, longer stitches for basting.

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading is essential for good stitch quality.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  3. Thread through tension discs and take-up lever.
  4. Wind bobbin evenly and insert in bobbin case.
  5. Pull up bobbin thread by turning hand wheel toward you.
  6. Place both threads under presser foot toward back.

WARNING! Always thread with presser foot raised to ensure proper tension.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint from feed dogs and bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts as specified in maintenance schedule.
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Cover machine when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Do not use household oils.
