Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift machine by base, not handwheel.
  2. Attach extension table: Slide into position until it clicks.
  3. Install foot controller: Plug into machine port.
  4. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.

First-Time Operation

  1. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, guide through tension, wind onto bobbin.

  2. Bobbin Winding: Place thread on spool pin, guide through bobbin winding tension, press bobbin winder.
  3. Bobbin Insertion: Open bobbin cover, drop in bobbin with thread counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.
  4. Needle Threading: Raise presser foot, thread needle from front to back.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until bobbin thread appears.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading to allow thread through tension discs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
