Machine Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

  1. Connect foot controller: Plug into machine front port.
  2. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, thread through bobbin winder, wind bobbin evenly.
  5. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in bobbin case with thread running counterclockwise.

WARNING! Always disconnect power when changing needles or cleaning. Keep fingers away from moving parts.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading diagram.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Use needle threader: Lower threader lever to automatically thread needle.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you to bring up bobbin thread.
  4. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to check tension and stitch quality.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Keep work area well-lit.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to select from 15 built-in patterns. Stitch Length: 0-4mm adjustment (0 for darning). Stitch Width: 0-5mm for zigzag patterns. Reverse: Hold button for backstitching. Tension Control: Adjust upper thread tension (4-5 for normal sewing).

Stitch Selection

Available stitches: Straight (1-4), Zigzag (5), Multiple zigzag (6), Blind hem (7), Stretch stitches (8-15).

  1. Turn machine off before changing stitch selection.
  2. Align desired stitch number with indicator mark.
  3. Adjust stitch length and width as needed for fabric type.
  4. Test on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Tip: Use shorter stitches for fine fabrics, longer stitches for heavy fabrics.

Buttonhole Function

4-step automatic buttonhole for consistent results.

  1. Attach buttonhole foot and mark buttonhole position on fabric.
  2. Set stitch selector to step 1 (right side) and sew first side.
  3. Set to step 2 (bartack) and sew forward end.
  4. Set to step 3 (left side) and sew second side.
  5. Set to step 4 (bartack) and sew back to starting point.
  6. Use seam ripper to carefully open buttonhole.

WARNING! Always use buttonhole foot. Practice on scrap fabric first.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before maintenance. Clean lint from bobbin area regularly. Oil moving parts as needed with sewing machine oil only.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Do not use household oils. Wipe excess oil after application.
