Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers.
  2. Attach foot controller to machine and power cord.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place thread on spool pin, thread through bobbin winder tension disc.
  5. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in bobbin case with thread pulling counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off when threading.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading guide.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Pull down lever and hook thread through needle eye.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  4. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to check tension and stitch quality.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Use proper needle for fabric type.

Stitch Selection

  2. Adjust stitch length for fabric type: shorter for fine fabrics, longer for heavy fabrics.
  3. Adjust stitch width for zigzag and decorative stitches.
  4. Use reverse stitch button to reinforce seam beginnings and endings.
  5. For buttonholes: Select buttonhole stitch, place fabric under foot, machine creates perfect buttonhole automatically.

Tip: Always test stitch on scrap fabric before sewing project.

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation and quality stitches.

  1. Upper Threading: Follow numbered path from spool pin to needle.
  2. Automatic Needle Threader: Pull lever down, hook thread, release lever.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place thread on spool pin, through bobbin winder tension, wind bobbin evenly.
  4. Bobbin Insertion: Place in bobbin case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.

WARNING! Ensure presser foot is raised when threading. Check bobbin direction.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint from bobbin area.
  3. Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (refer to oiling points in diagram).
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never use household oils.
