Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and place on sturdy table.
  2. Install foot controller: Plug into machine's foot controller port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup steps.

  1. Thread machine: Follow threading guide printed on machine.
  2. Use needle threader: Lower threader lever and hook thread through.
  3. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold needle thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  4. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to test stitch and tension.
  6. Adjust tension: Use tension dial if stitches are too loose or tight.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Use proper needle for fabric type.

Buttonhole Function

4-step buttonhole process:

  1. Step 1: Zigzag left side - position 8 on stitch dial
  2. Step 2: Straight forward stitch - position 9
  3. Step 3: Zigzag right side - position 10
  4. Step 4: Straight backward stitch - position 11

Mark button placement on fabric. Use buttonhole foot for best results. Practice on scrap fabric first.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Clean lint: Remove needle plate and clean bobbin area after each project.
