Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.
  2. Connect foot pedal to machine and plug into power outlet.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place bobbin on winder, thread through guide, press foot pedal to wind.
  5. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off when threading.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Use automatic needle threader: Pull lever down and hook thread through needle eye.
  3. Select stitch: Use stitch selection dial or buttons for desired pattern.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and width as needed for fabric.

  3. Bobbin winding: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through guide, press pedal.
  4. Bobbin insertion: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise.
  5. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off during threading. Keep fingers clear of needle area.
