Machine Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

Position machine: Place on sturdy table with adequate lighting.
Connect power: Plug power cord into wall outlet (120V AC).
Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press pedal to wind.
Thread machine: Follow numbered threading guide on machine.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off when threading or changing needle.

Basic Operation

Power on machine; test stitch on scrap fabric first.

Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.

Position fabric: Lower presser foot, guide fabric gently.
Start sewing: Press foot pedal gradually to control speed.

CAUTION! Never pull fabric while sewing - let feed dogs move fabric automatically.
