Machine Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface at comfortable height.

  1. Position machine: Place on sturdy table with adequate lighting.
  2. Connect power: Plug power cord into wall outlet (120V AC).
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press pedal to wind.
  5. Thread machine: Follow numbered threading guide on machine.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always turn off when threading or changing needle.

Basic Operation

Power on machine; test stitch on scrap fabric first.

  1. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  2. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and width as needed.
  3. Position fabric: Lower presser foot, guide fabric gently.
  4. Start sewing: Press foot pedal gradually to control speed.
  5. Reverse stitching: Hold reverse lever to secure stitches at beginning/end.
  6. Finish: Raise needle to highest position, lift presser foot, remove fabric.

CAUTION! Never pull fabric while sewing - let feed dogs move fabric automatically.
