Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove protective packaging and foam inserts from machine.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into AC outlet.
  3. Connect foot pedal to machine port.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disk, press foot pedal.
  6. Insert bobbin: Open bobbin cover, drop in bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; LED light will illuminate.

  5. Bring Up Bobbin Thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you until bobbin thread appears.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off when threading. Keep thread path clean.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts with sewing machine oil.
