Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove protective covers and packaging materials from machine.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect pedal cable to machine port.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side facing back.
  5. Install bobbin: Follow bobbin winding procedure in section 7.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow setup procedure.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow threading guide printed on machine.
  2. Wind bobbin: Use automatic bobbin winding system.
  3. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case following directional arrows.
  4. Select stitch: Turn pattern selector to desired stitch.

Threading & Bobbin Winding

Upper Threading:

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spool pin.
  3. Follow threading guide: Through tension discs, take-up lever, and finally needle.
  4. Use automatic needle threader if available.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder spindle.
  2. Guide thread through bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Press foot pedal to wind bobbin evenly.
  4. Stop when bobbin is 80% full.

Tip: Always use same thread type in bobbin and needle for best results.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint buildup with brush.
  3. Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops monthly).
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air; it can force lint deeper into mechanism.
