Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove protective covers and packaging materials from machine.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to designated port on machine.
  3. Plug power cord into machine and then into AC power outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  5. Install bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions in section 7.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug machine when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; LED light should illuminate.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow threading guide printed on machine.
  2. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press foot pedal.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  4. Select basic straight stitch for initial testing.
  5. Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, and gently press foot pedal to begin sewing.

CAUTION! Always turn handwheel toward you; never force the machine.

Front Panel: Stitch selection dial, stitch length control, stitch width control, reverse stitch button.

Side Controls: Tension control dial, bobbin winder, handwheel, power switch.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to desired stitch pattern (straight, zigzag, stretch, decorative). Tension Control: Adjust for different fabric types (2-6 for normal fabrics). Stitch Length: 0-4mm adjustment for stitch density. Stitch Width: 0-5mm for zigzag and decorative stitches.

Threading & Bobbin Winding

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Upper Threading: Raise presser foot, place spool on pin, follow numbered guide on machine.
  2. Use built-in needle threader: Push lever down, hook thread, pull back through needle eye.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press foot pedal until full.
  4. Bobbin Insertion: Open bobbin cover, drop bobbin in with thread pulling counterclockwise.
  5. Pull bobbin thread up: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel until needle goes down and up, pull both threads under presser foot.

WARNING! Always use same thread type in bobbin and upper thread.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with soft brush.
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing.

CAUTION! Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance. Use only sewing machine oil.
