Machine Setup

Assemble your sewing machine following these steps:

  1. Place machine on stable, flat surface at comfortable working height.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into grounded outlet.
  3. Install foot pedal and position for comfortable access.
  4. Remove protective packaging and accessories from storage compartment.
  5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back, tighten screw.
  6. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press foot pedal.
  7. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread running counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.

CAUTION! Ensure machine is unplugged during setup procedures.

Basic Sewing Operations

  1. Thread machine: Follow numbered guides from spool to needle.
  2. Raise presser foot and place fabric under needle.
  3. Lower presser foot and hold both thread tails.
  4. Press foot pedal gently to start sewing.
  5. Guide fabric gently without pulling.
  6. Use reverse stitch at beginning and end of seams.
  7. Raise needle to highest position before removing fabric.

Tip: Practice on scrap fabric to adjust tension and stitch settings.
