Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and protective covers from machine.

First-Time Operation

  1. Thread machine following numbered guides: spool pin → thread guides → tension discs → take-up lever → needle.
  2. Wind bobbin using built-in bobbin winder; insert bobbin with thread rotating counterclockwise.
  3. Select straight stitch pattern and medium stitch length for initial testing.
  4. Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, and gently press foot pedal to begin sewing.
  5. Practice on scrap fabric to adjust tension and stitch settings.

CAUTION! Always keep fingers away from moving needle. Turn handwheel toward you only.

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading is essential for optimal performance.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spool pin with thread unwinding toward back.
  3. Follow numbered guides: through first guide → around tension discs → up to take-up lever → down to needle.
  4. Thread needle from front to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: place thread on spool pin, wrap around bobbin winder tension, engage winder, press foot pedal.
  6. Insert bobbin with thread rotating counterclockwise, pull thread through slot.

WARNING! Ensure machine is turned off during threading. Never force thread through guides.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures long machine life.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint buildup with brush provided.
  3. Oil machine according to diagram in manual (every 6 months or 50 hours of use).
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needle regularly (every 8-10 hours of sewing).

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never spray cleaners directly on machine.
