Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Attach power cord: Plug into machine and wall outlet (110-120V).
  3. Install foot pedal: Connect to machine and place on floor.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine; follow threading guide.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path from spool to needle.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Raise presser foot: Lift presser foot lever before threading.
  4. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  5. Test stitch: Use scrap fabric to test tension and stitch quality.

CAUTION! Always turn handwheel toward you only. Never force the machine.

Front Panel: Stitch selection dial, stitch length control, stitch width control, reverse stitch lever, tension control dial.

Stitch Selection: Turn dial to select desired stitch pattern (straight, zigzag, blind hem, stretch, decorative). Stitch Length: 0-4mm (0 for darning, 4 for basting). Stitch Width: 0-5mm for zigzag and decorative stitches. Tension: 0-9 (4-5 for normal sewing). Reverse: Hold lever for backstitching. Free Arm: Remove extension table for circular sewing.

Stitch Selection Guide

Select appropriate stitch for fabric type and sewing purpose.

  1. Straight Stitch: Basic sewing, seams (length 2.0-2.5mm)
  2. Zigzag Stitch: Finishing edges, stretch fabrics (width 2-4mm)
  3. Blind Hem Stitch: Nearly invisible hems on garments
  4. Stretch Stitch: Elastic seams for knit fabrics
  5. Decorative Stitches: Ornamental sewing (width 3-5mm)
  6. Buttonhole: Automatic one-step buttonhole

Tip: Test stitches on fabric scrap before starting project.

Threading Instructions

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spool pin, secure with cap if needed.
  3. Follow numbered threading path: Through tension discs, take-up lever, guides.
  4. Thread needle from front to back.
  5. Insert bobbin: Hold bobbin case, pull thread through slot and under tension spring.
  6. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.

WARNING! Always raise presser foot when threading. Lower for sewing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove needle plate: Brush out lint and dust.
  3. Clean bobbin area: Remove bobbin case, brush thoroughly.
  4. Oil moving parts: Use sewing machine oil on designated points (see diagram).
  5. Replace needle regularly: Every 8-10 hours of sewing.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never use household oils.
