Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable sewing table.

  1. Remove protective packaging and foam inserts.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at right side.
  3. Install power cord: Plug into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Follow bobbin winding instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading sequence.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered guides from spool to needle.
  2. Insert bobbin: Place bobbin in case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Raise presser foot and lower needle into fabric.
  4. Start sewing: Press foot pedal gently to begin.
  5. Practice on scrap fabric to adjust tension and stitch settings.

CAUTION! Always turn handwheel toward you. Never force the machine.

  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts (use sewing machine oil only)
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with soft brush
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8-10 hours of sewing
