Unpacking and Setup

Carefully unpack all components and inspect for damage.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift from base, not from handwheel.
  2. Attach foot pedal: Connect to machine port at right front.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet.
  4. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread running counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.
