Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

Stitch Selection Guide

Threading the Machine

Proper threading is essential for good stitch quality.

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on spindle, thread through first guide.
  3. Use automatic needle threader: Push lever down, hook thread, pull back.
  4. Pull thread toward back under presser foot.
  5. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  6. Insert bobbin: Drop into case with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  7. Pull bobbin thread up through throat plate.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off during threading. Keep fingers clear of needle.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts with sewing machine oil.
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with folded fabric or dental floss.
