Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging: Lift carefully from carrying case.
  2. Attach power cord: Plug into machine and wall outlet (120V).
  3. Install foot pedal: Connect to machine port and place on floor.
  4. Attach extension table: Snap into position for flat sewing surface.
  5. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side to back.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow threading diagram.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered guides from spool to needle.
  2. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  3. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case with thread moving counterclockwise.
  4. Select stitch: Turn pattern dial to desired stitch.
  5. Test sew: Use scrap fabric to check tension and stitch quality.

CAUTION! Always start with needle at highest position. Keep hands clear of moving parts.

Stitch Selection

Tip: Always test stitch on fabric scrap before starting project.

Threading & Bobbin

Upper Threading:

  1. Raise presser foot and needle to highest position.
  2. Place spool on pin, thread through first guide.
  3. Follow numbered path down to tension discs.
  4. Thread through take-up lever from right to left.
  5. Pass through lower guides to needle.
  6. Use automatic needle threader or thread manually.

Bobbin Winding:

  1. Place empty bobbin on winder shaft.
  2. Thread machine as for sewing through tension discs.
  3. Push bobbin winder to engage, press foot pedal.
  4. Stop when bobbin is full, cut thread, push winder back.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug machine before maintenance. Regular cleaning prevents lint buildup.

  1. Remove needle plate: Use screwdriver to access bobbin area.
  2. Clean feed dogs and bobbin case: Use small brush to remove lint.
  3. Oil moving parts: Use sewing machine oil on hook race and other points as manual indicates.
  4. Replace needle: Change after 8-10 hours of sewing or if damaged.

CAUTION! Use only sewing machine oil. Never spray lubricants.
