Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove machine from packaging and remove all protective materials.
  2. Connect foot pedal to machine and power outlet.
  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side facing back, tighten screw.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc, press winder to engage.
  5. Insert bobbin: Open bobbin cover, insert bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Plug in machine and test basic functions.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered guides from spool to needle.
  2. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you to catch bobbin thread.
  3. Test stitch: Place fabric under presser foot, lower foot, gently press pedal.
  4. Adjust stitch length: Turn dial for shorter or longer stitches.
  5. Practice reverse: Press reverse lever to backstitch at beginning and end of seams.

CAUTION! Always start with scrap fabric to test settings. Keep work area well-lit.

Stitch Length: 0-4mm adjustment (0 for darning, 4 for basting). Reverse: Hold lever for backstitching. Tension: Default factory setting for medium weight fabrics. Presser Foot: Lever raises and lowers foot. Bobbin Winder: Push bobbin onto winder shaft, engage mechanism.

Basic Stitching

Follow these steps for proper stitching technique.

  1. Prepare fabric: Press if necessary, mark stitching lines.
  2. Position fabric: Place under presser foot, lower foot lever.
  3. Start sewing: Gently press foot pedal, guide fabric evenly.
  4. Reverse stitch: At beginning and end, hold reverse lever for 2-3 stitches.
  5. Finish: Raise needle to highest position, raise presser foot, remove fabric.
  6. Cut threads: Use built-in thread cutter or scissors.

Tip: Practice on scrap fabric first. Don't pull fabric - let machine feed it through.

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading is essential for good stitch quality.

  1. Upper threading: Follow numbered guides from spool pin to needle.
  2. Bobbin winding: Place spool on pin, thread through guide, wrap around bobbin 2-3 times.
  3. Engage winder: Push bobbin right, press pedal until bobbin is full.
  4. Bobbin insertion: Open cover, place bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  5. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn hand wheel toward you.

WARNING! Always use same thread type in bobbin and needle. Don't overfill bobbin.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Brush out lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil moving parts with sewing machine oil (2-3 drops).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with soft brush.
  4. Needle replacement: Change needle after every 8 hours of sewing.
  5. Storage: Cover machine when not in use, store in dry location.
