Machine Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface.

Stitch Selection

Bobbin Loading

  1. Open bobbin cover on front of machine.
  2. Insert wound bobbin with thread unwinding counterclockwise.
  3. Pull thread through slot and under tension spring.
  4. Close bobbin cover securely.
  5. Pull up bobbin thread by holding upper thread and turning handwheel.
  6. Place both threads under presser foot toward back of machine.

WARNING! Ensure bobbin is properly seated and thread is correctly threaded through tension spring.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Remove needle plate to clean lint from bobbin area.
  3. Use small brush to remove dust and lint.
  4. Oil machine as recommended in manual (if required).
  5. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  6. Store machine with cover when not in use.

CAUTION! Never use compressed air to clean machine as it can force lint deeper into mechanism.
