Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect foot pedal: Plug into machine's foot pedal port.

  3. Install needle: Loosen needle clamp screw, insert needle with flat side facing back.
  4. Wind bobbin: Place empty bobbin on winder, thread through tension disc.
  5. Insert bobbin: Drop bobbin into case following directional arrows.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; follow these steps for initial setup.

  1. Thread upper thread: Follow numbered threading path on machine.
  2. Pull up bobbin thread: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel toward you.
  3. Select stitch: Turn stitch selection dial to desired pattern.
  4. Adjust settings: Set stitch length and width as needed.

CAUTION! Always start with needle in highest position. Use proper needle for fabric type.

Threading & Bobbin

Proper threading ensures smooth operation.

  1. Upper Threading: Raise presser foot, follow numbered path from spool to needle.
  2. Needle Threader: Push lever down, hook thread through guide, pull back.
  3. Bobbin Winding: Place spool on pin, thread through guides, place bobbin on winder.
  4. Bobbin Insertion: Open bobbin cover, drop in bobbin following directional arrow.
  5. Thread Drawing: Hold upper thread, turn handwheel to bring up bobbin thread.

WARNING! Ensure machine is off when threading. Keep threads taut but not tight.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Remove lint from bobbin area and feed dogs.
  2. Weekly: Oil hook race and moving parts (use sewing machine oil only).
  3. Monthly: Clean tension discs with soft brush.
  4. As needed: Replace needle after 8 hours of sewing or for new project.
