Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Remove protective covers and packaging materials from machine.
  2. Attach power cord to machine and plug into AC outlet.
  3. Install foot pedal and connect to machine.
  4. Thread machine following threading diagram on machine.
  5. Wind and install bobbin according to instructions.

WARNING! Keep fingers away from needle area during operation. Always unplug when not in use.

First-Time Operation

Power on machine; LED light will illuminate.

  1. Select straight stitch using stitch selection dial.
  2. Place fabric under presser foot and lower presser foot lever.
  3. Gently press foot pedal to begin sewing.
  4. Practice basic stitches on scrap fabric first.
  5. Use reverse stitch lever to secure beginning and end of seams.

CAUTION! Always use proper needle for fabric type. Replace bent or damaged needles immediately.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Remove needle plate and clean lint buildup with brush provided.
  3. Oil machine according to lubrication points diagram (use sewing machine oil only).
  4. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Replace needle after every 8 hours of sewing or with each new project.

WARNING! Never use compressed air to clean machine as it can force lint into mechanism.
